NICHOLAS COLIA is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker who recently completed classes at NYU Graduate Film School. This past spring, his short Alex and the Handyman won the National Board of Review Student Grant for 2017 and the 1st Place King Award for all Graduate Films at NYU’s First Run Film Festival Wasserman Awards.  Alex recently had it’s festival premiere at the Palm Spring International Shortfest and will also be screening at Outfest this July alongside Nicholas’s other short Starring Roman.  He is currently finishing work on his new movie Untitled Short Film About White People, is writing two TV pilots, and is exhausted.
