NICHOLAS COLIA is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker who recently completed classes at NYU Graduate Film School. This past spring, his short Alex and the Handyman won the National Board of Review Student Grant for 2017 and the 1st Place King Award for all Graduate Films at NYU’s First Run Film Festival Wasserman Awards. Alex had it’s festival premiere at the Palm Springs International Shortfest and also screened at Outfest this July alongside Nicholas’s other short, Starring Roman. He is currently finishing work on his new movie Untitled Short Film About White People, two pilot scripts, and a feature script with NYU alum Laura Terruso (Hello My Name Is Doris). He is repped by Cullen Conly at ICM.
